A 50 years old male presented with the complaint of pain lower abdomen, vomiting for last 3 days. On examination, the abdomen was found to be distended, tender and rebound tenderness (+) . Peristaltic sound was absent and bilateral crepitations were there in chest. Gangrenous ileum was resected leading to end ileostomy with mucus fistula and sigmoid colon was resected and end to end anostomosis done.
